Dearest Nancy,
As I am writing to you I have a little paw gently touching my
hand and key board. I hear soft purring in the air. I turn to
see my friend sleeping comfortably on his back, legs
sprawled open and eyes shut tight. He is happy and so
are we.
Thank you so much for our little Dolce. As his name
attests, he is “sweet”. He talks, cuddles, eats, and sleeps
with our entire family. On the first day he arrived, it was as
if he had been here all along. He is truly a wonderful kitty.
We have a 16 yr girl, two 9 yr olds (girl/boy), and an 8 yr
old little girl who all adore him. He sleeps/purrs in everyone’
s arms, especially the girls, and is afraid of nothing. He
looks at the vacuum with wonder, plays with running water,
enjoys all his toys, smells the dog, and follows the other
cat around. He is healthy, loving, beautiful and content. We
couldn’t have been given a nicer pussy cat. Thank you
again.
Warmly,
The Lomax Family

I think this is one of the sweetest photos I've ever
seen!
Dear Nancy:
We’ve had our kitten, Cachaca Dolce (“Shasa”), for just about a month now. Shasa is a delightful little
white Persian male and has quickly worked his way into our hearts and home. He is a sweet and playful
little guy and is perfectly socialized. Shasa follows Ellen around in the mornings and evenings, insists
upon sitting in her lap while she sits at her make-up vanity in the mornings, and he curls up next to us on
the bed at night. He is a little fuzzy speed bump… you just have to stop whatever you’re doing and play
with him.
We are so pleased that Shasa is fearless and trusting with us, our houseguests and other people. He is
very friendly with our houseguests and has been extremely tolerant and cooperative when being groomed
or provided routine veterinary care. He loves to receive attention and to be handled and has absolutely
no fear of strangers. This behavior shows us that he was treated with nothing but love before leaving
your home for ours. Speaking of behavior, Shasa has been perfectly trained to use the litter box and has
done so since his arrival without any mishaps. He is a healthy kitten and is quickly growing before our
eyes! By the way, we’ve never had a kitten who purred so often or so loud. This is one contented little
fellow!
We started looking for a new kitten when our 16-year-old black Persian male, Espresso, developed a
chronic illness. We found your website and could readily tell that any one of your kittens would be raised
in a loving home as a family member. This was important to us as our last Persian came from a breeder
who seemed to view him as just another piece of merchandise to be peddled. Shasa was born just a
few weeks before Espresso passed away. Although we weren’t yet emotionally prepared to bring home
a new kitten, we visited you and met your new kittens. At your home, we found your very friendly adult
cats living in an open, safe and clean environment. And then you brought out the little guys… as soon as
Shasa curled up in Ellen’s lap as we sat on your sofa, we knew he was just what the doctor ordered for
our broken hearts.
We know that Shasa has been given a big head start on a happy life due to all the love and special care
you provided during his first three months. We both look forward to coming home to him at night and can’
t wait to play with our new pal at the end of the day and during weekends. Thank you for making this
very special addition to our family possible!

Ellen & Bob

Dear Nancy:
I cannot thank you enough for my beautiful baby boy,
Oliver. It is hard to believe that he turned one year old
today. It only feels like yesterday when I visited your
house to see his four day old litter. And I knew from
the moment I laid eyes on him that Ollie was the
one!
Ollie’s favorite things are his tent, drinking water from
the bathtub faucet, and his crinkle tunnel. He loves to
explore and play. He especially likes to visit my father’
s house in Sarasota where he can spend time outside
in the screened patio. There, he has discovered
lizards and bugs, which provide HOURS of
entertainment! I could not be happier with my baby
boy. Ollie is healthy, frisky and extremely lovable. We
are both so grateful for Ollie and for your continued
friendship. I promise I will continue to send you
pictures and videos! Having had Persian cats for over

20 years, I can honestly say I can’t ever imagine my life without one! Ollie, like Izod, Mikey, and Sidney
before him, has stolen my heart; he is perfect in every way imaginable. I look forward to visiting soon!
Love always,
Tracey Schwartz
It's my first birthday today and mommy got me this cool new pup tent! I'm having an awesome day!

Hi Nancy!
We wanted to send you a little note to let you know
how Jasper is doing. He is such an AMAZING boy!
He settled in so quickly, just like you said he would!
He is now best buds with Jacob (our black persian)
and it seems like he has been part of the family
forever. We all adore him! When people come over
he is the star of the show! Always welcoming them
and prancing around so they can “ooh and aah”
over him! One friend calls him the “Ambassador”.
He can be wild and wacky, running up the stairs
with us, and sweet and cuddly, stretching along my
back when I sleep. No matter what, he always
makes us smile. We are so thankful to have him in
our home.

I’m sure genetics play some role in purrsonalities, but I think much more has to do with how they are
raised and loved from the early days. I love how you raise your babies underfoot and how each one of
them is a part of your family….it is so clear when you walk through your door!
Thank you so much for everything, including all of the tips and advice you have given well after we
brought him home! I hope one day you are in the neighborhood and can stop by to see how he is doing!
Hugs!
Karen and Luis

Good Morning Nancy,
It has been awhile since we last chatted, but we
have been very busy with our little girl. Tia keeps us
going all day and night long. She greets us at the
door when we get home from work, and does not
leave our sides until we go to work the next
morning. When we go upstairs she runs up the
stairs ahead of us and tries to guess which room
we are going to go into. When I am working form
home she comes into my office and lays right
between my arms when I am on the computer. She
is so adorable, and we love her so much. We sleep
with the bedroom windows open and as soon as
the birds start chirping (around 5am) Tia will jump
up on the bed walk across my chest and Annie's
chest and jump up to the window sill where she will
sit for hours and watch, and listen to the birds.

Yesterday was Tia's first spa day, that's right she and Annie had a spa day!!!!!! Well Tia did anyway.
Annie took her to a groomer who bathed her, clipped her nails, combed her, and even cleaned her ears.
Tia behaved like the little princess that she is and was invited back to the spa for another bath when ever
she needs one, bad cats are not invited back. Annie was right there with her holding her little paws and
keeping her calm and comfortable. Did we mention how adorable she is and how much we love her!!LOL.
Annie is still feeding her the homemade food recipe that you had given to us, along with hard food. She
has a really good appetite and eats and goes to her litter regularly. We make sure that she drinks lots of
water as well.
She likes to climb the patio door screen when we are sitting outside, so we had to get the pet screen put
in the patio door!!LOL. She really is an escape artist, she has figured out how to get her little paw in by
the patio screen door and slide it open far enough to sneak out and join us on the deck...we have to lock
the screen door now to keep her inside. She has found so many places to lay down and have her naps,
we sometimes will have to go and find her new napping spots. Tia has the run of the house while we are
at work, all day everyday. She really is well behaved and has not caused any damage, other than the
patio screen, and a wicker chair that she likes to sharpen her little claws on. The wicker chair has
become her scratching post. She is a very spoiled little kitten!!! Did I mention how adorable she is and
how much we love her!!!
Just wanted to touch base with you and update you on how Tia is doing. We want to thank you for giving
us such a wonderful gift in Tia, she will be loved and cherished forever. She is so adorable, and we love
her lots!!!! Thanks again.
Forever grateful,
Jim & Annie
